Sajjad Rashid is an accomplished, highly strategic Risk Management Executive at Bank of America, based in Charlotte USA. He currently leads a global team responsible for Enterprise Liquidity Risk. He has a valuable combination of experience in trading derivatives, as Chief Operating Officer for sales and trading businesses and risk management across multiple disciplines in global investment banks. He also leads the employee engagement efforts for the Bank’s Risk Management department of 5000 team mates.
His experience in global investment banks totals nearly 25 years across firms including Bank of America, National Australia Bank and Deutsche Bank. Sajjad has significant international experience having worked the majority of his career in London. He graduated in Economics and Mathematics as well as a postgraduate in Financial Mathematics.
He is married and has 3 children, who all left England and moved to Charlotte in 2017 with Sajjad. He is a keen field hockey player and has volunteered as a coach, umpire and general manager in the sport. He is currently volunteering on the USA Field Hockey Foundation as a Trustee. He has also volunteered and fundraised with charities including supporting children with special needs and a UK medical charity supporting the poor and needy in south Asia.
