Walid Eltaraboulsi was born and raised in the Carolinas, and appreciates serving the community that raised him. From a young age he knew he wanted to help people – hence his pursuit of medicine. He topped his medical degree with a fellowship at Duke University. A Coach K fan since birth the Blue Devils were a natural fit for both his studies in pulmonology and his love of college basketball.
Upon graduating with a fellowship in pulmonology, he worked for Carolinas Healthcare System where he was named among the Top Docs in Charlotte. In 2018, he became a proud partner of Tryon Medical Partners where he serves as the Chief of Pulmonology. In addition to seeing his patients Dr. Eltaraboulsi is in pursuit of an MBA through UNC-Chapel Hill to ensure Tryon Medical Partners offers premium patient care with a well-constructed business plan that revolves around value based medicine. Dr. Eltaraboulsi takes pride in offering his patients the best care.
Additionally, Dr. Eltaraboulsi has helped establish a free health clinic (Shifa Clinic) in Charlotte that serves over 100 uninsured patients every month. You can find him volunteering his time there throughout the year.
When he is not working or volunteering he spends time traveling with his lovely wife. He also enjoys playing soccer and watching sports.
