Wayne Cooper

Resume of Wayne P. Cooper


Wayne Cooper was born and raised in Oklahoma.  He moved to Charlotte North Carolina in 1976 after living in Mexico for several years.  With more than 50 years of International business experience, Cooper  co-founded TelecommUSA.

He grew that business and successfully sold it to Euronet Worldwide (NYSE, EEFT)

He continued with Euronet and helped grow it into the third largest remittance company in the World. In 2007, he co-founded Processa International, which is an international bill payment company, and successfully sold that to NetSpend (NYSE,NTSP), Austin Texas. 

1981, Cooper was appointed by President Lopez Portillo to position of Honorary Consul of Mexico

1981-2000 He was the only Consul between Washington DC and Atlanta Ga. for Mexico

He is working with his investments and works on scholarships for needy Mexican Students.  He has a 350 acre Ranch where is has 550 head of Goats.

President Carlos Salinas of Mexico awarded Cooper the “Order of the Aztec Eagle”, which is equivalent to the US Presidential Metal of Freedom. (, it was awarded to Senator Edward Kennedy Posthumously, and in 2008, to Bill and Melinda Gates)
